Frequently asked questions

Can I extract all URLs from a block of text?
Yes. The Extract URLs operation uses a regex pattern to find all URLs in the input text and returns them as a list, one per line — useful for processing web scraped content or log files.
What line ending formats does it support?
The tool can convert between Windows (CRLF, \r\n), Unix/Mac (LF, \n), and old Mac (CR, \r) line endings. This fixes issues with files that show as one long line or display strange characters in some editors.
Can I remove extra blank lines from text?
Yes. The 'Remove blank lines' operation removes all empty lines. 'Condense blank lines' reduces multiple consecutive blank lines to a single blank line — useful for cleaning up pasted content from PDFs or emails.
