What is Email Validator?

Email validation ensures addresses are correctly formatted and deliverable before sending campaigns, completing registrations, or importing contact lists. DailyDevTools' Email Validator checks email format against RFC 5321/5322 rules, detects common typos (gogle.com, yahooo.com), identifies disposable email providers, and validates MX records — distinguishing between syntax validation and actual deliverability.

How to use Email Validator

  1. 1Enter an email address in the input field
  2. 2The tool instantly checks format validity: correct structure, valid TLD, no illegal characters
  3. 3View the MX record check to see if the domain can receive email
  4. 4Use Bulk Validate to paste a list of emails and get a valid/invalid breakdown

Frequently asked questions

Does validating an email address guarantee delivery?
No. Format and MX validation cannot guarantee delivery. An address can be syntactically valid with working MX records but still bounce if the specific mailbox doesn't exist. The only way to confirm deliverability is to send a test email.
What is a disposable email address?
Disposable (temporary) emails from services like Mailinator, Guerrilla Mail, and 10 Minute Mail are used to bypass registration requirements. The validator flags known disposable domain providers to help prevent fake signups.
What makes an email address technically valid?
A valid email has a local part (before @), an @ symbol, a domain with at least one dot, and a valid TLD. The local part allows letters, digits, and certain special characters. Quoted strings and IP address literals are technically valid but rarely used.
